This Privacy Policy explains why I collect personal information and how I collect, use, disclose, store and protect that personal information. I comply with Australian laws on privacy.

This Privacy Policy applies to the entirety of Origami Graphics and its shop area The Designer Playbook. Origami’s ABN is 80 847 271 195.

What’s personal information?

Personal information is any information about an identifiable person, so includes anything that can be used to identify you like your name, gender, date of birth, address, phone number or email.

The personal information I collect includes name, phone number, email address and billing address. I don’t keep records of credit card information as this is managed by third parties such as Stripe, PayPal, and individual financial institutions (banks!).

Why do I collect your personal info?

I collect your personal info for the following reasons:

To deliver services or products to you (eg. sending an eBook to your email address) or conduct other necessary business such as processing refunds or answering questions
Cookies may be used to track general user actions across the site for marketing and improvement purposes.

When and how do I collect your personal info?

Your personal information is mainly collected at checkout, when you must enter your name, contact details and billing information before making a purchase.

Information about your browsing habits may be recorded as you use the site through Cookies, which are a type of technology used to inform and explain user behaviour and track information such as how long people spend on this site, what country they’re from, and how many pages they visit.

What if I don’t want to share any personal information?

You don’t have to share any personal info if you don’t want to, but it may mean I’m unable to provide services to you.

You can turn cookies off by adjusting your web browser settings or by browsing in Incognito mode.

When do you disclose my personal info?

Your personal information will never be used in a way that is contrary to this Privacy Policy, but may be disclosed to third parties to prevent illegal activity or as otherwise required by law.

If this happens, I’m required to treat your personal information according to all applicable laws.

Can I update or delete personal information that’s been disclosed with you?

You can. Email me at taylor@thedesignerplaybook.net.au and I can amend or delete your customer details. Please note that if you’re deleted from the customer database and your history is removed I won’t be able to find any of your previous orders, issue refunds, or solve disputes.

How do you store and protect my personal information?

Your personal information is securely stored in the Customer Database and will be retained indefinitely unless requested. I’ve taken measures to secure this information including using a valid SSL Certificate on the website and using recommended security measures.
